VOLUNTEER OR DONATE
"Do you want to make a difference in the direction the Federal government has been moving? If you do I encourage you to become a volunteer to make this campaign successful.

You may not be able to donate money, you may not be able to host great audiences to hear the message, but everyone who is willing can bring at least 10 votes to this crucial  election can actually affect the outcome.  With those votes we can and will win. In order to present a viable media effort, it will take real dollars.

The maximum any single donor may give is $2,300.  I am grateful for any gift, $1,000, $500, $250, $100, $50 or even $20 whatever you can afford to send to help put a Mississippian who shares the same life experiences you do especially making ends meet in the household budget.

The House of Representatives should be just that a representation of the real people of the United States not just the financially elite. To volunteer, please e-mail joelpickens@aol.com or mail your non-tax deductible contribution to:

Working together, we can raise Mississippi to new heights, but it takes your help now.

Lexington Mayor Robin  McCrory and  Pickens Alderman Joel Gill ask Senator Trent Lott not to shift the cost of the air traffic control system from the airline industry to general, private, and recreational aviation. Such a shift to a user based fee system would give the airlines a huge tax break by removing the exicise tax from Jet Fuel that currently funds our air traffic control system.
"The only time we are truly equal is in the voting booth on election day. Please vote for YOUR choice this November. Please give Joel Gill a chance.
Congressman Bennie Thompson and Alderman Joel Gill discuss the street paving funds the Town of Pickens will receive through the Congressman's hard work.

"Friends, I can't do it without you. I  implore you to participate in this campaign. The opportunity of an open seat in MS is not an every election opportunity.

With your help we can make this happen. If you choose to send me to Washington, DC to be your statesman at the national level, I promise to represent you in the traditions of other well respected men such as Congressman G V "Sonny" Montgomery.

You can not be concerned with building seniority if it means going against the people's wishes within the District. To take that path is to back away forever from the title of respected statesman and become just another politician."
